November 1, 2018 - December 22, 2018 @ The Electric Company Art Gallery
This is a special art show for the holiday season designed to inspire visitors to purchase original art for themselves and as gifts for the holidays!
Give original art created by local artisans. There is so much to choose from in varied and unique media: painting, drawing, print-making, collage, mixed media, photography, mosaics, sculpture, fabric, fiber and glass (stained and fused), jewelry and pottery. If that isn’t enough, we even have furniture, and it’s all under one roof!
All purchases are available immediately to take with you. Remember to come back soon, because all sold items will be replaced by new selections.
Enjoy a snack and beverage on 2nd Fridays: November 9th and December 14th, from 5 PM to 8 PM while you shop.

The formation of BRAMA, Blue Ridge Area Mosaic Artists in May 2015, originated out of a desire by students of mosaics to form a group to share their interests. Artist, Dotti Stone, teaching mosaics at Bower Center for the Arts over 10 years, initiated the formation of the organization. Janet Chalker, a charter member, helped with the development of the mission statement:
We love creating, sharing and learning about mosaics.
We support each other as we explore this once ancient, and now modern art form.
BRAMA, as a group, has taken part in community public art projects: 3 floral panels for the entrance side of for Bower Center, and 7 panels for Bedford Domestic Violence Services Memorial Garden on Bedford Avenue at N Bridge Street. The group has exhibited at the MOarts Gallery in Moneta, and on a rotating basis during the startup year at The Electric Company Gallery, during November of 2018, as a featured group in the Electric Company Gallery.
