Lighthouse Exhibit by Jean Wibbens - Photographer
The United States has more lighthouses than any other country in the world. While on a recent trip to Maine and just over the border to Canada, she discovered a number of beautiful lighthouses, several of which are seldom photographed.
Jean has been taking photos ever since saving cereal box tops to buy a camera when she was 6 years old. She got more serious with the 35mm camera in college. Jean’s love of photography led to a Bachelor’s Degree in Art with a minor in English concentrating on Journalism.
Jean exhibits in local galleries and has had several successful single artist shows. She published the book, “The Eye of God” based on a photographic exploration of incarceration at a prison built in 1829. In collaboration with fellow photographer, Robert Miller, she published a book called “The Lives of Bedford”.
