INVITATION TO SUPPORT RENEWABLE ENERGY
Bedford Electric has initiated a renewable energy program to allow customers to purchase the renewable component of our Community Solar project and James River Hydro project. You can show your support for renewable energy by participating in this new program.
The advantages of the Bedford program are:
- Support Bedford renewable energy resources
- No up-front cost required
- No long term commitment
- You don't have to be a property owner to participate
- Flexibility to participate at the 50% or 100% levels
- No waiting to start the program.
It costs just $.008/kWh to support Bedford's renewable energy resources. Just a six month initial term and then month to month participation requires no long term commitment or up-front capital contribution. Sign up by completing an application & returning it to the Billing window at Town Hall (215 East Main Street).
