The Town of Bedford held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the National Fitness Campaign "Fitness Court ®", on Wednesday, May 8th at 10:00 a.m. on location at Liberty Lake Park, 939 Burks Hill Road, Bedford, Virginia.
The Town partnered with Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital as the main sponsor to bring this first outdoor gym of this kind to the State of Virginia. Additional Sponsors include: Bedford Ready Mix, Lloyd Concrete Services, Inc, Sharp Top CrossFit, The Carter Craft Foundation and Structure Foundation Solutions.
Residents can download the FREE app - Fitness Court- from National Fitness Campaign that provides workouts and music to follow while working out on the LLP Fitness Court.
