IMPORTANT NOTICE
DISCONTINUANCE OF REMINDER "RED TAG" NOTICES
As of August 1, 2020, the Town of Bedford Electric Utility will no longer be putting reminder "red tag" notices on doors of past due account holders. Account holders are expected to pay the amount due by the due date state on their bill.
The customer bill is due and payable every month. Service may be discontinued if unpaid after the disconnect notice statement date. Cut-off notices are sent on the following monthly schedule:

| Cycle 3 & 4: | 20th day | 25th day | 5th day |
| Cycle 1: | 30th day | 5th day | 15th day

Disconnect notices must be paid before 5:00 pm on the disconnect date. Service will be disconnected on the next business day. If payment is made after 5:00 pm on the disconnect date, all past due bills must be paid. Any customer account that does not pay by the disconnect date will be assessed a fee of $30.00.
