Spring Cleanup Week - Town of Bedford Residents
March 22 - 26, 2021
- Please place your bulk refuse items at the curb, edge of sidewalk or edge of pavement for collection no later than 7:00am Monday morning, March 22, 2021. Bulk refuse items will be collected on March 22, 2021 thru March 26, 2021.
- We cannot make return trips after clearing your neighborhood.
- Help us help you by following these simple guidelines:
- - Put out separate piles for wood, leaves, junk and appliances, etc. Each requires a different collection or disposal method and your cooperation makes our crew’s job easier. If items are not separated, we cannot pick up.
- NOTE: Brush and tree trimmings will not be collected during spring cleanup. (Please see comments for Brush Collection information.
- Properly remove the Freon from refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners. Environmental regulations prohibit us from accepting these items for disposal otherwise. Call us if you need advice.
- Do not place liquids such as paint or driveway sealer out for pickup. These items must be dried and/or hardened before we can put them in the landfill. Kitty litter works well to accelerate this process.
- If you would like to take your bulk refuse items to the landfill, the tipping fee will be waived for households only from March 20th thru March 27th.
- Landfill hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm. Saturdays 8:00am to 12:00pm.
