The Town Council has elected to remove the self-service dumpsters for the Orange Street landfill effective July 1, 2015.
Locations
Town residents are encouraged to use the
landfill during normal operating hours (8 a.m. to Noon, Monday through Saturday) and to use the County drop off centers (7 am. to 7 p.m., daily) at:
1974 Falling Creek Road
Bedford, VA 24523
Also, 24/7 drop off at the main County Landfill (which is off of VA 43) at:
1060 Recycle Road
Bedford, VA 24523
The recycling bins will remain in place.
Landfill Operations & Expectations
An ID proving town residency must be presented when disposing garbage through the Town of Bedford Landfill. All customers are subject to charges for disposal.
