The Economic Development Authority of the Town of Bedford, Virginia, shall fulfill all the purposes and intents of the General Assembly of Virginia, in Title 15.2, Chapter 49, of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, and by any other enactment adopted by the General Assembly. The Authority shall fulfill all purposes and intents of the Town Council of the Town of Bedford, Virginia. The general purpose of the Authority shall be to promote industry and develop trade in the Town of Bedford.
The Town of Bedford Economic Development Authority (EDA) meets the second Friday of every month at 1:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, unless meetings are changed or called for a different date.
